Everything at Spiezia Organics centres around a philosphy of theirs called ´Made for Life´. ‘Made for Life’ is about us, our health and the way live. It’s about making choices that not only contribute to our own well-being and make us feel good about life, but that also contribute to the well-being of the world we live in.
All Spiezia products contain 100% certified organic ingredients and they were the first in their field to be accredited 100% organic by the Soil Association. “The skin is the largest organ in your body and absorbs a vast amount of what you put on it which could impact on your health” says co-owner Amanda Barlow.
With this in mind, no chemicals, parabens, additives or any other nasties are added to any of their entirely Organic and natural products. “For us it’s all about whole Organic ingredients and years of wisdom, that combined, are known to produce results.”
Another reason Spiezia Organics gets the liveeco stamp of approval is because every decision they make has the environment in mind. Even their packaging is eco-friendly from the labels on the recycled glass bottles and jars to the product miles on ingredients, (every pot, jar and bottle of Spiezia Organic products is handmade in a workshop at Gear Farm, an Organic farm in St. Martin’s in Cornwall!)
Ingredients include locally grown herbs and flowers which are macerated in recycled glass jars filled with olive oil to form the components of many of their balms, oils and ointments. The results are good enough to eat!
Liveeco hero product: Spiezia Facial Cleanser which uses a unique blend of organic essential oils including Eucalyptus, Clove and Clary Sage to decongest clogged pores, regulate sebum production and soften and soothe the skin.
