Guerrillas Gone Green

Those of you who tweet might have heard of SA´s very own @Green_Guerrilla. For those of you who haven´t, Green Guerrilla is Dave Alves – inspired creative, budding designer, blogger, environmentalist and die-hard pizza lover!  Why are we telling you about Dave? Well, for Madiba Day , Dave announced the re-emergence of his other company, Guerrillas Gone Green  “Clean Ups” and what better way to kick it off, than by taking 67 minutes out of your day on Nelson Mandela´s birthday.

The plan was to spend 67 minutes cleaning up the grounds around Zoo lake in Johannesburg and giving back to the community. They achieved a rocking attendance and everyone reportedly had an awesome time helping clean up and revitalising the area.

So Dave, from The liveeco team, big up and we hope that you´ll be organising many more Guerrilas Gone Green Clean Ups and perhaps they´ll even spread down South to us folks in Cape Town…? Keep us posted!!
