Rock those Daisies, Darling
It´s Rocking the Daisies this weekend at the Cloof Wine Estate in Darling. Rocking the Daisies is a premier music festival held each October in the West Coast vineyards of Darling. This is not just any music festival though, it´s a festival with a conscience.
Rocking the Daisies has incorporated all practical measures possible to ensure hosting a green event since its initiation in 2006. I know of some people who are taking the green theme a step further this year and are cycling to the event thereby lowering their carbon “transport” footprint. Apparently there are even a few peeps walking to the event!!
However you choose to get there, try and support this event as it is one of the biggest ´green´ music festivals out there and is set to be loads of fun! Click here to check out this year´s line up. If you not too keen on the camping vibe, there are a few hotels in the area but you better be quick as space is limited!
