Emma Watson´s "Pure Threads"

Emma Watson has recently launched her latest ethical collection this time for Italian designer, Alberta Ferretti. Fresh from her third—and final—People Tree collaboration, Watson segued her newfound expertise into a five-piece collection with Ferretti. The capsule line, which bears more than a passing resemblance to H&M’s Conscious Collection, has a distinctive ’70s vibe (it was inspired by fashion muse Jane Birkin, after all.)

“Pure Threads” is a five-piece collection that’s quite possibly the perfect summer wardrobe.

Composed of two dresses, a shirt, a long skirt, and a denim short—all made in Italy from Global Organic Textiles Standard-certified organic cotton—Pure Threads is modest in scope. Yet it’s quite possibly, as a press release bills it, the perfect summer wardrobe—perfect, in fact, for the gamine woman-child who’s ready to step over the threshold and embrace the wider world beyond.
