Fresh-Faced Autumn Make-Up Looks

autumn make-up looks 2013

When autumn rolls around, it captures an image of fresh-faced glamour with a slight preview of the bolder looks set to heat up our winter. Here are some of this season’s hottest autumn make-up looks to rock out with in the upcoming months.

1. Berry Nice!

Berry lips are always gorgeous but spotted on the runway recently was the juicy, blended-in lip look that didn’t require a lip liner pencil. Smudged lip boundaries create luscious lip stains, they look more natural and they’re easier to achieve without too much touching up. Try Nvey Eco Lipstick that contains organic ingredients and comes in sumptuous shades including a nude mauve and sweet cranberry.

2. Cupid’s Brow

There’s something very chic and almost romantic about a well-defined eyebrow, so stop over-plucking yours and let them thicken out! The trend this autumn is to ditch the heavy mascara in favour of fuller, but well-defined, eyebrows. The bonus? They really do frame the face naturally. Give thin eyebrows a boost with Shobha brow pencil. This pencil is free of parabens and it is long-lasting as well as water-resistant. It contains eco-friendly ingredients such as jojoba seed oil, carnauba wax and beeswax. To make your colour selection easier, the brow pencil comes in a shade for brunettes and blondes.

3. Petal Lids

Smokey eyes are still heating up the beauty trend frontlines, but instead of rushing in with dark colours, use a pale coral or barely-there pink shade all over the lid. Then add some smoky grey or black in the corners of the eyes and flick upwards to create a simple yet glamorous look. The mix between fresh, light colours and the heavier grey is a treat for the eyes – both yours and those who will be looking your way! Try organic Suncoat mineral eye shadows that contain certified organic cornstarch. They’re free of talc and preservatives, and come in a variety of shades.
