Last week the judging panel convened to determine this year’s Avant Garde dress winner and lucky recipient of the R10 000 bursary towards their studies for 2014, courtesy of The Cape Town Fashion Council.
The 10 finalists faced the judging panel made up of: Stephanie Wolhuteringgs {Pick n Pay}; Kerry Bell {CTFC}; Poppy Evans {ELLE Fashion Director}; Sabrina Schenck {vida e caffè} and myself; whilst being filmed by the eXpresso crew! Despite their nervous energy and the power outage in the building, the 10 finalists did extremely well and the judging panel was impressed with what they saw. I can’t wait to announce the winner and runners up on 07 November 2013 at vida e caffè, Wembley Square.
