We say it time and again, that many eco fashion brands fail, as they forget to put fashion first when it comes to their designs. We can happily say this is not the case with The People’s Movement. They use natural, organic and upcyled materials from plastic bags cleaned from Bali & California to make on-trend upcycled shoes that stand for something positive.
A portion of MOVMT’s sales goes to their non-profit partners, 5 GYRES who are dedicated to stopping single use plastics through action, education and awareness. In their first 18 months of business, The People’s Movement has cleaned up over 175,000 plastic bags and their products have inspired 100 top retailers to join the cause and start a MOVMT.
