Do you love to dye Easter eggs? There are loads of new and creative ways to dip, dunk and decorate your eggs this year! Here are some fun ones to try.
Turn Your Egg into a Bunny
Bunnies are an Easter staple so make use of them in this egg craft. Take your egg and dip it into pink dye. Set it aside to let it dry completely. Then, cut out bunny ears from some cardboard and glue them onto the top of the egg. You can also cut out eyes and a toothy smile with the cardboard if you like. Glue a ribbon onto the top of the egg so that you can hang it up. This is cute and can be used on the table or around your home to add a flash of Easter fun.
Place Card Eggs
Painted eggs can be a charming idea for place cards this Easter. Paint names of the guests that are coming over to your house for a celebratory meal so that they can find their seat in an unusual and fun way! You could also use name stickers or labels instead of painting the eggs if you prefer. To keep the eggs standing in place, prop them in egg holders.
Egg-cellent Eggs for the Home!
You can turn eggs into interesting and sophisticated décor for the home just by changing your egg dye from pastel colours to black and white or metallic shades. You can paint stripes or other patterns on them, but these colours keep the eggs looking classy and grown up. Decorate your home with them to give you a unique Easter decoration that fits in with your stylish home décor.
Get Your Hands on Glitter Tape
Tape that has glitter on it is an easy way to update your eggs. Simply break it off and tape it across your eggs. You can also make your own glitter tape easily. Try out different ways of applying the tape – go on and have fun with it!
Use Natural Elements
You can really get creative with your eggs by decorating them with flowers and herbs. All you do is tie string around a flower or a few strands of herbs and then tie it around the egg. Choose colourful flowers to make the prettiest statement and/or herbs that smell lovely, such as rosemary, which will appeal to the senses at your Easter table.
