We caught up with Angela Leclezio, Remake Design Challenge OBJECT finalist, in her 2nd year at  Design Time.  We find out what inspired this laid back, vanilla tea obsessed interior design student’s “hanger vibes” kitchen storage range.

I am a perfectionist.

Vanilla tea.

Down to earth with a contemporary edge.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Learn to appreciate the finer detail.

Tell us a little more about your ’KITCHEN STORAGE’ collection. What inspired you?

Storage problems I encounter in my flat and of course coat hangers.

What challenges have you experienced by adhering to the competition principles of using sustainable design techniques?

Creating a multi-functional storage object for both car & kitchen. Sourcing discarded wooden hangers.

What’s on your horizon?

An exciting internship at Inhouse Brand Architects & a much needed holiday!

What excites you?

A good bottle of red wine.

How do your friends describe you?

Laid back.

What is your most treasured piece in your home?

My travel journal.

Top tip when it comes to sustainable design?

Create an innovative solution for a problem with the use of reinvented waste.
