What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Love your body, use it in every way that you can. Don’t be afraid of it, or what other people think of it, it’s the greatest experience instrument you’ll ever own.
Tell us a little more about your ’KITCHEN STORAGE’ collection. What inspired you?
After I decided to use old, perished wetsuits, I thought about the connection that the surfers have with the water of the ocean. It inspired me as to how the drinks or object being stored are like the human surfers and the wetsuit in which houses them from that water element helps to carry, protect and create that thermal factor that all surfers usually need. I loved the detail brought about by the seems and stitches which hold all the separate pieces together.
What challenges have you experienced by adhering to the competition principles of using sustainable design techniques?
The availability of sourcing the materials that need to be used in the creation of my designs.

Keep living my dream – creating, designing and travelling. Doing what I love while also enjoying life!

Top tip when it comes to sustainable design?
Celebrate and be inspired by the raw and true beauty of the sustainable material/s chosen. Don’t overcomplicate things for yourself – keep it simple.
