Estilo sexy, fashion forward, and eco-friendly

Estilo means “style” in Portuguese. Their shoes combine high fashion and elegance while making green efforts to help preserve the environment. They are affordable and the styles are unique. The line ranges from platforms, to wedges, flats, sandals, and includes various heights for heels. There is beautiful tie-dye, Acoupa Weakfish skin, crinkled leather, python print, neutral tones as well as electric brights, pastel colors, intricate braiding, weave detailing, metallics, everything you can imagine and it is all made in a manufacturing plant that is eco-friendly. The shoes themselves are created using recycled leather. Fish skin styles produced are 100% vegan. The Fall/Winter 2011 Collection will feature a sub line that is 100% vegan.

Estilo´s Eco Effort

The manufacturing factory, located in the south of Brasil, is a member of the recycling program “Amanha Feliz” or “A Happier Tomorrow.” 68% of the production byproducts are recycled into reusable resources. Disposal of any byrproducts is done without contaminating any soil or water. The shoes are made using recycled leather. The leather is tanned using chrome-free, non-toxic vegetable dyes. The styles that come in fish skin can be made 100% vegan using synthetic materials. The garment tag is made of seed paper and once planted and watered for about three weeks a Brazilian Clover grows. The shoe box itself is made out of recycled paper and the garment bag inside is made of washable reusable flanel.
