Goodone for Topshop

Body-con recycled streetwear label Goodone’s Autumn Winter 2010 collection has been picked up by high street giant Topshop to be sold at the flagship store on London’s Oxford Street.

Pieces available at the megastore and on Topshop.com include a black fitted dress and body with cheeky crochet panel inserts, an aran knit bomber jacket and Goodone staples – the contrasted panel sweatshirt and dress.

The collection caught the attention of Topshop after being picked up by fashion consultant Yasmin Sewell who selected the brand for sponsorship by the British Fashion Council.

Topshop announced, “We are really excited to be working with Goodone, as an up and coming brand they have successfully combined sustainability with great design. The story behind the clothes and the brand is an innovative concept and one we’re sure our customers will be interested in.”

Goodone’s second collection for supermarket giant Tesco goes in-store this season incorporating their signature style into a less expensive collection made entirely from ends of rolls and factory waste taken from a green factory in Sri Lanka.

Mainstream retailers such as Topshop and Tesco are beginning to take an interest in upcycling and are looking to Goodone for innovative solutions,” said Nin Castle, one half of the Goodone duo. “By mixing surplus luxury fabrics and new British knits with recycled garments, we achieve freedom of design and a strong feminine look.
