Goldfish rocks Kirstenbosch

As I´m sure most of you know Cape Town is in the midst of an incredible heat wave that´s exhausting city dwellers day after day! With temperatures reaching the 40 degree celcius mark yesterday in the City Bowl, an evening out under the trees at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens was just what was needed! What better way to celebrate 2010 being the International Year of Biodiversity!

During the summer months Kirstenbosch holds its annual Summer Concerts, last night was Cape Town local legends, Goldfish. And it was amazing! We got a sneak preview of tracks from their new album due to be launched later this year and jammed the evening away to the crowd favorites including Hold Tight and Fort Knox.

The Wildlife and Environment Society was also there, handing out information to concert goers about their various environmental initiatives. What a fantastic way to educate youngsters about going green and provide the green industry with some eco chic cred at the same time!
