Ben & Jerry´s tests eco-friendly coolers

I absolutely LOVE Ben & Jerry´s Ice Cream. I made my first fateful discovery on a trip to the U.S. when I was still a kid and sadly for my hips it´s been true love ever since! So I was really excited when I stumbled upon the news that Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream is testing out new eco-friendly coolers at some of their stores in the States to see if this is something they can work into their creamy routine.

In both the Boston and Washington regions, Ben & Jerry’s is testing out hydrocarbon coolers which combine propane and butane to keep things cool using less energy and almost eliminating their global warming footprint. General Electric is also looking to market a home refrigerator in the U.S. that runs on the same technology. We’re crossing our fingers for a green living outcome!
