byThe pressure is mounting for Avant Garde dress as our DAF students perfect their sustainable fashion design skills. The students only have another two weeks to finished their garments before their photo shoot on the 3rd of November.
Upcycle Update
byThe Avant Garde dress 2012 upcycled designs are starting to take shape. Make-up and hair has been submitted to our sponsors, The Body Shop, and they are loving the looks they’ve seen so far.

Designers Are You Ready? Avant Garde dress is Back!

The upcycled fashion design competition now in it’s second year will take place from the end of August until 24 November 2012, where it will culminate in a fashion show with eco flair at The Green Expo at the CTICC on 24 November 2012 at 1pm.

Avant Garde Winner is announced
byThis past Saturday was the Avant Garde 2011 finale runway show at The Green Expo at the CTICC.Our 13 DAF students had their upcycled garments paraded to an enormous crowd, at lunch time at the expo.
