Geysers use more energy than any other appliance, so turn its temperature down to 60 degrees celsius ( 60C ). You´ll also use up to 40% less energy if you lower your washing machine´s wash temperature to 30 degrees celsius ( 30C).
Retail giant, Woolworths, is now clearly labelling clothes that can be washed at a lower temperature “Think climate – wash at 30C”.
