Project Runway´s Seth Aaron Henderson´s winning fall 2010 collection

Seth Aaron Henderson, winner of the seventh season of Project Runway, is designing an entire collection inspired by solar power, to be presented at Portland Fashion Week (PFW), a carbon-neutral production, on October 9 2010. Not only will models be adorned in solar-powered clothing but they´ll also be strutting down a runway assembled with black photovoltaic panels made by SolarWorld, PFW´s renewable energy sponsor.

For inspiration, Seth Aaron Henderson, who hails from Portland, Oregon, toured SolarWorld´s manufacturing plant in nearby Hillsboro. According to the press release, the designer is interested in exploring the technology´s aesthetic possibilities and “draw on his passion for a domestically-manufactured solar solution to pressing energy, environmental, and economic challenges facing the country.”
