How are you doing your bit in the fight against climate change…?
Big or small every little bit helps. I am now recycling like a demon, everything I discard I first rinse it out and then pop it in our giant recycling sack outside the kitchen door and once a week go along to the municipal recycling centre in Cape Town. It´s the best recycling depot I´ve seen by far and promise to blog about it shortly as I think everyone in the Cape Town area should know about it.
I am also becoming a BIG plug “switcher offer” much to the irritation of everyone else in the house as it means you can´t just plop down on the couch in front of the telly and switch it on with the remote. You actually have to go and switch it on at the wall as I´ve most likely turned off its power supply in order to save electricity and believe you me it´s working!
