The U.S Environmental Protection Agency says every step of clothing production carries a negative environmental impact. In recent years, the trend toward “sustainable” fashion has spurred some designer to incorporate environmentally friendly methods into manufacturing clothes.
New Yorker Iliana Quander is set to join 10 other designers at Highbridge Park in Upper Manhattan for “Eco-Fashion in the Park,” which will showcase locally manufactured clothes designed.
