Haute Ecouture at the BAFTAs

While the Grammys were taking place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles last night, most of the Hollywood elite were in England for the BAFTA awards.

True to her promise, Livia Firth got some major stars to join her in her Green Carpet Challenge. She started seducing talent at the Golden Globes with the goal of getting green fashions represented by big names at each award show.

Who got on board? “The Help” star Viola Davis wore a beautiful one shouldered pink Valentino gown made out of recycled plastic bottles. Michael Fassbender and Colin Firth showed up looking dapper in Armani suits made from ethical wool and recycled fabrics. Livia Firth wore a Paul Smith tux made from ethical and organic New Zealand wool and silk.

While it doesn’t appear that she was a part of the Green Carpet Challenge, according to Livia Firth’s twitter, Michelle Williams wore an eco H&M dress from their Conscious collection.

It doesn’t get much bigger than Armani and Valentino designing eco-friendly fashions. We hope they continue. Aren´t the dresses A-mazing?
