Office Upcycle: PART 1

office upcycle

Those of you who follow us on Twitter will know that we have begun a small “office makeover” to bring some cheer to the winter months. Last weekend I started with my desk which is an old wooden desk that I had touched up last year with varnish but now decided I needed something brighter and more chic.

I had to sand it first ever so slightly just to smooth it out a bit and then started with the paint. It took two days in total and about three and a half coats of paint, with multiple interruptions of the 4-legged kind, which you’ll see from the pics but I am thrilled with the result and now can´t wait to hit my desk in the mornings! Next up is an old chair and ottoman that need re-upholstering, I´ll keep you posted!
