Gwyneth Paltrow Tries Her Hand at Ethical Fashion Design

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow is trying her hand at a new role: ethical fashion designer. Following stylish collaborations with the likes of MiH Jeans, Melissa Odabash, and Rag & Bone, Paltrow has teamed up with British ethical fashion label Chinti and Parker to create a pair of cashmere sweaters for her aspirational-newsletter-cum-ecommerce-site, Goop.

Available in intarsia hearts or Breton stripes, the limited-edition pieces feature Chinti and Parker’s signature buttoned shoulders, contrast-color pockets, and statement-making elbow patches. “You’ll want to live in these super-soft, perfect-fit cashmere sweaters,” says Paltrow, who discovered the label at one of her guest-edit shoots with online retailer Net-a-Porter.

“Goop shares many ethical and stylistic values with Chinti and Parker, from a commitment to sustainability and better living, to a love of timeless, beautifully made clothing,” Anna Singh, who co-founded the label with her cousin Rachael Wood in 2009, told the Telegraph on Friday. “We are immensely privileged to have collaborated in this way and hope you love the pieces as much as we do.”
