On Monday we held the judging for Avant Garde dress 2012. On our judging panel was Elle Magazine SA’s editor, the lovely Jackie Burger, Stephanie Wolhuterinnggs from Pick n Pay, Bianca Fobian, MD of DAF and myself.
A big thanks to our goodie bag sponsors: Malee; The Body Shop; Yves Rocher; Acquizhen and Balm Balm, for treating our judges with some lovely spoils.
We had a fabulous morning and the judges were impressed with the talent they saw coming through again this year. We had a tough decision to make but feel that in the end this year’s winner really represents what the Avant Garde dress competition is all about. We look forward to revealing the winner at our runway show on the 24th November at The Green Expo in association with The National Geographic Channel at the CTICC at 1pm. So be sure not to miss it!
