Many parents are trying to cut back on the amount of sugar their children consume, but events like Halloween can be tough seeing as candy is such a big part of the festivities. Whether you’re dishing out treats or just want some sugar-free ideas to keep around the house, consider these options instead:

Sugar-free candied peanuts

Sugar-free peanut butter cups

Get a mini muffin pan, xylitol, cream, unsweetened chocolate, unsweetened peanut butter and almond flour ready. Heat the cream in saucepan, add the chocolate and artificial sweetener and stir until everything is melted for the muffin (‘cup’) part of the peanut butter cups. To make the filling, mix the peanut butter, flour and sweetener in a mixing bowl and form the chocolate mixture into balls before pressing it into the chocolate cups.
