Vivienne Westwood Launches Ethical Africa Bags

Vivienne Westwood, British fashion designer and environmental activist has launched a new line of ethical bags made in Africa from recycled materials, called Ethical Africa.

The range has been handmade in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi by communities of women affected by extreme poverty.

Available in different styles from unisex rucksacks to totes and zipped clutches, the bags are manufactured from recycled canvas, reused roadside banners and leather off-cuts.

Launched last week via ASOS with prices starting £58 {±R500}.
