Designer Erdem Moralioglu and Livia Firth have officially joined forces to create the designer’s first-ever Green Carpet Collection.

“I am so excited about yet another world first for Eco-Age: to unveil a new Green Carpet Collection at this year’s London Fashion Week,” Firth told British Vogue.

“To be awarded the GCC brandmark is alone something we are so proud of, but the fact that this year it will be created by the wonderful Erdem is hugely exciting. I have always loved his designs and his use of texture and colour. The Erdem woman has values that marry so beautifully with the Green Carpet Collections — it’s a perfect marriage of ethics and aesthetics,” she said.

The range will be completely constructed of “reused, surplus or sustainably certified materials.

Firth has previously collaborated with Stella McCartney, Gucci, Victoria Beckham, Christopher Bailey, Christopher Kane and Roland Mouret. As part of her GCC, Firth wore a gown made of a fabric spun from recycled plastic bottles and designed by Antonio Berardi at May’s star-studded Met Gala.
