Last week the judging panel sat for Round 1 of 2013’s Avant Garde dress, Live Eco’s upcycled fashion design competition, to select this year’s Top 10 finalists from the competing schools. Here are this year’s Top 10 finalists…
Today we sat for Round 1 with our Avant Garde dress judging panel: Poppy Evans, ELLE magazine SA’s Senior Fashion Director, Kerry Bell from CTFC, myself, Sabrina Schenk from vida e caffè and Stephanie Wolhuteringgs from Pick n Pay; to select our Top 10 finalists.
The online fashion boutique ASOS’ Africa 2013 collection takes inspiration from the East African countries of Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
August is d-day for our Avant Garde dress 2013 contestants. 2nd year design students from DAF, CTCFD, Elizabeth Galloway, CPUT, Fedisa and Northlink will be submitting their submissions on 16 August 2013 and we can’t wait to see their ideas.
